Ian Glaubinger; born in 1982, often refers to himself as a professional doodler. As a kid he started out drawing dinosaurs and Ninja Turtles and eventually moved on to drawing... dinosaurs and Ninja Turtles. Some of the clients and galleries Ian has worked with include Lucasfilm, Marvel, Warner Bros, Fox, Cartoon Network, Sony, Bottleneck Gallery and Spoke Art.
The majority of Ian's work draws inspiration from the past. More often than not, the aesthetics of the 1940s through the 1960s (often referred to as "mid century modern") are the most prevalent. Inspiration also comes from the works of Hanna-Barbera, UPA cartoons, and Warner Bros. to advertising, music and architecture of yesteryear. He also is a huge collector of all things Ninja Turtles, tin toys, vintage Disneyland and World collectibles and 1964-'65 New York World's Fair memorabilia.
