Fargo is a modern classic, a black comedy directed by Joel and Ethan Coen that is filled will memorable performances and unique dialogue. This week we are excited to release our first licensed poster for Fargo, with art by Jonathan Burton!
The artist had the following to say about the poster:
“Hi Wade it’s Jerry, I… we gotta talk. Oh Jeez, it’s terrible.” From one of the most darkly comic scenes in Fargo I wanted to pay tribute to this ordinary 'home sweet home’ revealing details of the aftermath where something has happened to Jean. Jerry trying to wriggle out if this mess by rehearsing his distressed phone call.
The broken glass, the shower curtain and the telephone are the items that tell the story of everything that’s wrong with this ‘normal’ home and grieving husband. Be sure to check out the Easter Egg! The Little embroidery shows the kidnapper's hideout including blood!
